Lutheran Life Villages has an opening for an experienced Nurse Manager to fill the role of an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) for our Pine Valley Assisted Living Campus. The ideal candidate must have an Active Registered Nurse (RN) license. This candidate must be well-versed in quality measures associated with the long-term care industry, and wound care/treatments, and can discuss improvement measures taken in previous roles. This candidate must also have a proven track record of leadership skills/qualities.
The ADON will primarily be responsible for the coordination of daily resident services that are a part of the plan of care. Provides educational and learning opportunities within a supportive environment that encourages employees to gain knowledge, skills, and appropriate behaviors necessary to perform assigned duties competently. The ADON will coordinate learning experiences that support delivery of quality services and monitors the activities of all nursing employees to ensure quality services are provided and comply with State, Federal, and Organization guidelines.

Job Qualifications:
Education/Training:
Registered Nurse from an accredited state-approved school of nursing is preferred.
Current licensure to practice in the State of Indiana.
Experience:
Two (2) years experience in geriatric or long-term care nursing.
One (1) year experience in a supervisory role.
One (1) year of acute care experience preferred
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Strong verbal, organizational, interpersonal, and assessment skills.
Ability to organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines.
Understanding of the concepts of aging and the needs and concerns of the elderly.
