Nick Jr. is seeking a Programming Coordinator to join our team and help deliver engaging, educational content to our youngest audiences. In this role, you'll manage scheduling and content strategies across multiple platforms, ensuring every detail aligns with our mission to entertain and inspire preschoolers. Please note this role is required to be in person (5) days per week out of our New York City office.
Responsibilities
- Assist with Program Planning & Scheduling for the Nick Jr. Block on Nickelodeon, the Nick Jr. 24-hour channel, and the Nick Jr. Pluto TV FAST channel.
- Help execute overall plans for Nick Jr. Multi-Platform including Nick , SVOD and VOD.
- Assist Director, Nick Jr. in planning Preschool schedules, including long-lead episode planning, premiere rollouts, stunt ideation and short-term schedule changes.
- Maintain KPI (share) trackers for networks and individual show performance.
- Track all Nick Jr. programming inventory, including metadata, delivery dates, and episode descriptions including specials.
- Manage all day-to-day programming schedule operations, including front-line communications with the Broadcast Center (NOC) including after-hours and on weekends.
- Participate in group brainstorms to develop programming support plans for initiatives across the Nick Jr. ecosystem including Consumer Products and SVOD launches.
- Communicate changes to Marketing counterparts in a timely manner to ensure accuracy of on-air promotion.
- Help track competitive programming and industry news and trends.
Qualifications
- 1+ year of experience program scheduling at a broadcast or cable network preferred (internships welcome)
- Bachelor's degree
- Extremely precise and detail-oriented
- Time management, prioritization and organizational skills.
- Good communicator with knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Zoom.
- Interest in children's programming particularly for Preschoolers.

Additional Information
Hiring Salary Range: $55, ,000.00.
The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement.
