Limestone Cafe is a cafeteria located on the Browns Ferry Nuclear Power Plant.

We are looking for experienced cooks and motivated beginners to join our team The shift available is scheduled 5:00 AM-2:00 PM.

You will be preparing, cooking, and serving top quality dishes for our guests, the workers of Browns Ferry Nuclear Plant, to enjoy. We offer competitive pay, a flexible work schedule, and an employee discount.

Responsibilities:

  • Inspect and clean food preparation areas, such as equipment and work surfaces or serving areas to ensure safe and sanitary food-handling practices
  • Ensure freshness of food and ingredients by checking for quality, keeping track of old and new items, and rotating stock
  • Ensure food is stored and cooked at correct temperature
  • Prepare all dishes and prep items according to recipes
  • Respond to guest feedback with appropriate urgency and professionalism
  • Take orders from customers for food and beverages
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and appearance of your designated area
  • Wash dishes by hand to maintain kitchen cleanliness
  • Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas as needed
  • Seeping/mopping floors
  • Collect customer payments and provide change in a timely and courteous manner

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting as a cook and/or cashier preferred
  • Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time
  • Ability to effectively listen to and respond to customer needs
  • Have a courteous, friendly, and professional demeanor
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to lift 30+ lbs.

Job Type: Part-time
