Position: Test Engineer (Cedar Rapids, IA) 

Job Overview: We are seeking a Test Engineer to support ongoing engineering projects. In this role, you will collaborate closely with team members to test and maintain a variety of engineering devices. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in executing test procedures, ensuring device stability, and contributing to successful software releases.

This is a contract role.


What you will be doing as a Test Engineer …

Execute both automated and manual test suites on GNSS-based receivers

Test GNSS, CP, and various device OS functionalities

Drive innovation in testing processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness

Monitor baseline health through integration testing

Troubleshoot and root-cause engineering issues through analytical testing

Skills you ideally bring to the table as a Test Engineer …

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent practical experience

Proficiency in Python, C, and C++

Experience with testing methodologies and debugging engineering systems

Self-motivated with strong task execution and problem-solving skills

Proven ability to work effectively both independently and within a globally distributed team

Excellent communication and documentation abilities

Desired (but not required): Knowledge of GNSS principles, including signal generation, transmission, reception, measurement construction, and position calculation
