Join our dedicated team in Spokane Valley as a Processing Administrative Assistant and help keep our operations running smoothly This role is perfect for someone who enjoys variety, teamwork, and making a meaningful impact every day.

About the Role

As a Processing Administrative Assistant, you'll play a key part in supporting management with day-to-day clerical and administrative functions. From coordinating meetings to managing employee timesheets and reports, your efforts will help ensure our department meets its goals and maintains high standards of excellence.

What You'll Do
  • Review and approve timesheets bi-weekly; track and report any missing punches.
  • Generate and analyze time and attendance reports, including break logs and attendance summaries.
  • Process Paid Sick Leave (PSL) requests and maintain the department's time-off calendar.
  • Prepare, edit, and proofread correspondence, spreadsheets, and reports with precision and timeliness.
  • Answer and direct phone calls, handle inquiries, and assist with internal communication.
  • Coordinate and organize meetings — from scheduling and materials to taking minutes.
  • Distribute supplies, samples, and documents to various departments and managers.
  • Assist with R&D sample distribution, vendor kits, and employee performance tracking reports.
  • Manage to-dos and project tasks in Basecamp, ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Support Research & Development projects and provide excellent customer service across all departments.
What We're Looking For
  • Must be 21 years or older.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 1+ year of administrative experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook); familiarity with pivot tables a plus.
  • Washington State Food Worker Card (or ability to obtain).
  • Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills.
  • Dependable, professional, and adaptable with excellent attention to detail.
Physical & Work Environment
  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods, lift up to 25 lbs, and perform repetitive hand movements.
  • Work environment may include moderate noise, dust, or occasional exposure to chemicals (with appropriate safety measures).
