Agentic AI Software Engineer

We're partnered with a fast-growing, AI-native security company that's rethinking how modern software and infrastructure are protected. The team is building an agent-driven platform that goes far beyond static rules and brittle detection, using autonomous systems to reason about context, validate findings, and surface what actually matters.

This is an opportunity to join early, work directly on production agentic systems, and help define how AI agents secure real-world codebases and cloud environments at scale.

What You'll Do

  • Design, build, and deploy production-grade AI agents that reason over code, infrastructure, and security context.
  • Develop agent workflows that combine planning, tool invocation, validation, and multi-step execution.
  • Turn research ideas and prototypes into scalable, reliable systems with strong evaluation and feedback loops.
  • Partner closely with security engineers and product teams to automate high-impact security workflows.
  • Own systems end-to-end, from early experimentation through production rollout and iteration.

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years of professional software engineering experience building and shipping production systems.
  • Hands-on experience with agentic AI systems beyond demos, including planning, memory, tool use, and robustness.
  • Strong proficiency in modern backend engineering (Python, Go, Rust, or similar).
  • Experience with LLM orchestration frameworks (e.g., LangChain, AutoGen, Semantic Kernel, or equivalents).
  • Familiarity with application security, cloud security, or developer tooling is a strong plus, but not required.

Compensation

$225k – $325k+ base salary
