Job Description

As a Security Officer - Industrial Patrol Driver in Lancaster, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will conduct routine patrols throughout a manufacturing and industrial location, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence to support a secure environment. This driving post allows you to interact with employees and visitors, offering exceptional customer service and communication while upholding our core values of agility, reliability, and innovation. Through teamwork and integrity, you will play a crucial role in creating a positive experience for everyone on site.

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the manufacturing and industrial location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Monitor access points and observe for any unusual activity or conditions within the location.
• Document and report security-related incidents and concerns according to Allied Universal policies.
• Support emergency response activities as required by site-specific guidelines.
• Interact professionally with facility personnel, contractors, and visitors while upholding the standards of Allied Universal.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
