What you'll achieve

As a Signal Integrity Senior Principal Engineer, you will be responsible for driving innovation in the field of Signal Integrity (SI) pushing the boundaries of next generation high speed signaling. Dell's SI team focuses on innovative solutions around portfolio-wide transmission line challenges in the design and support of enterprise server platform development. You will collaborate with Dell internal engineering teams and Original Design Manufacturer (ODM)s on Dell's Power Edge Servers, AI Servers and storage products.

You will:

  • Devise optimized simulation strategies necessary to characterize worst case system conditions for high volume manufacturing and environmental variations
  • Participate in design reviews for platforms internal and external to Dell and provide guidance relating to signal integrity rules and best practices
  • Lead the development of electrical validation test plans for new technologies and assist in the resolution of signal integrity issues before they impact product delivery and/or quality
  • Engage with key technology and strategic suppliers to co-develop platform guidelines and simulation tools and to collaborate on future technology directions and ecosystem challenges associated with high frequency interfaces and materials
