is seeking an experienced
Manufacturing Process Engineer
for our successful and growing manufacturing client in the Wallingford, CT area. The Manufacturing Engineer will develop, improve, and maintain manufacturing processes to ensure quality and efficiency in production operations.

Salary: $90K-110K

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead
    new product introductions
    from design transfer to production.
  • Develop, document, and improve
    manufacturing processes
    for assembly and testing.
  • Pilot
    prototype builds
    and validate production methods.
  • Troubleshoot
    production and equipment issues
    .
  • Design and implement fixtures, tooling, and visual work instructions.
  • Integrate and support new manufacturing equipment.
  • Train production personnel on assembly and testing processes.
  • Manage multiple engineering projects and priorities.

Must-Have Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
    in Electrical, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering (or equivalent).
  • Familiarity with SolidWorks or CAD
  • Microsoft Office -
    Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Hands-on soldering and circuit board repair experience.
  • 5 years of experience
    in manufacturing or process engineering.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of various
    manufacturing methods
  • Familiarity with medical device industry or
    ISO 9001, ISO 13485, and IPC-A-610
    standards a plus
  • Experience with
    Python, LabVIEW
    , or other programming tools a plus
  • Understanding of
    digital communication protocols
    (I2C, SPI, RS-232) a plus
  • Experience with
    microcontrollers
    (PIC, Arduino) and
    signal processing
    techniques.
