ANE Consulting is a leading construction management services firm known for its excellence in delivering complex, high-visibility projects throughout New York City. The firm provides construction management, inspection, and engineering services for major public sector clients, including the NYC Department of Transportation (DOT), Department of Design and Construction (DDC), and other city agencies.
About the RoleAs Master Electrician Manager, you will oversee the electrical operations of an ongoing NYC DOT maintenance contract. You'll ensure field crews efficiency, maintain compliance with DOT standards, and oversee operational documentation and quality assurance. This role is a full-time, on-site position based in Staten Island, reporting to the clients office. The role does not require field work to be performed.
Key Responsibilities-
Oversee DOT maintenance contract operations for NYC red light, speed, and school bus stop-arm safety camera systems.

Supervise Local 3 superintendent and general foreman responsible for dispatching Local 3 crews across NYC.

Increase field operation and documentation efficiency while ensuring contract scope is fulfilled according to standards/specifications.

Ensure field crews adhere to schedule and resource allocations for assigned scopes.

Review and optimize inventory and warehouse management processes for the DOT contract.

Estimate manpower hours (MHS) for change orders and upcoming scheduled work.

Conduct quality assurance audits to ensure compliance with contractual and operational standards.

Manage and forecast profit and loss (P&L) statements and ensure operational budget accuracy.

Active NYC Master Electrician License (license will not be held at ANE Consulting or the clients firm).

Minimum 3+ years of field services leadership experience.

Strong understanding of DOT contractual requirements and compliance management.

Proven experience with P&L forecasting, budgeting, and audit processes.

Must be non-union.

Ability to coordinate multiple crews and maintain operational efficiency across multiple sites.

Salary: Up to $178,000 annually, based on experience.

Office Hours: 6:00 am 2:00 pm (1-hour lunch break).

Report to site 23 times per week; company vehicle provided for site visits, with gas/tolls fully reimbursed.
