Indianapolis, Indiana, United States ROBIN RUN VILLAGE Full time
Transportation Coordinator: The Roving Hero of Robin Run Village

Location: Robin Run Village, Indianapolis, IN

Are you a master scheduler with a clean driving record and a passion for people? Do you enjoy being the vital link that keeps a vibrant community moving? Robin Run Village, a premier senior living community in Indianapolis, is looking for a Transportation Coordinator to ensure our residents get where they need to go, safely and with a friendly smile

This isn't just about driving; it's about connecting our residents to their world—from essential medical appointments to fun shopping trips and community outings. You are the key to maintaining their independence and ensuring their days are active and fulfilling.

What You'll Be Doing (The Essentials):
  • Logistics Guru: Create, manage, and distribute the daily and weekly transportation schedules for resident appointments (medical, therapy, etc.) and group activities. You'll be the human GPS
  • Safe Operator: Safely operate community vehicles (van, bus, or automobile) for scheduled trips, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
  • The Helpful Hand: Provide compassionate assistance to residents, including those with mobility aids (walkers, wheelchairs), ensuring they board and disembark the vehicle safely and comfortably.
  • Vehicle Steward: Coordinate and schedule routine preventive maintenance, inspections, and cleaning for all community vehicles to ensure they are always safe and in tip-top shape.
  • Records Keeper: Maintain accurate trip logs, mileage records, and vehicle maintenance documentation.
  • Team Player: Collaborate with the Life Enrichment and Nursing teams to ensure all resident transportation needs and special requirements are met.
What You'll Bring (The Must-Haves):
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of six (6) months of experience as a bus/van driver, preferably in a senior care or healthcare setting.
  • A valid Driver's License in the state of Indiana with a satisfactory, clean driving record. A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is a bonus, but not required for all vehicles.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and a knack for scheduling.
  • Strong verbal communication skills—you need to be clear, friendly, and patient.
  • A compassionate, respectful, and professional demeanor when interacting with residents, families, and staff.
Why Join the Robin Run Village Family?

At Robin Run Village, we believe in supporting our team members as much as we support our residents. You'll be joining a collaborative and genuinely caring community where your work makes a visible, positive impact every single day.

  • Immediate Impact: You will be a life-connector, helping seniors maintain their independence and vibrant lifestyle.
  • Supportive Culture: We are a team that feels like family, committed to creating a positive and safe environment.
  • Great Perks: Enjoy a competitive benefits package, including a 401(k), paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth. (We might even spoil you with delicious on-site dining)

If you're ready to be the unsung hero who gets our community moving, we want to hear from you. Apply today
