The leadership of the firm limits overtime and seeks to pay higher wages than firms of a similar size.Position Summary:We are seeking a Senior Tax Accountant to join our team and help lead our tax practice with precision and confidence. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional who is highly motivated, detail-oriented, and passionate about helping clients navigate the complexities of tax compliance and planning. You'll work directly with clients and team members, providing leadership on tax strategy, preparation, and review.Key Responsibilities:Prepare and review complex individual, corporate, partnership, trust, and estate tax returnsProvide tax planning and consulting for a diverse client baseAssist with IRS and state tax audits, notices, and correspondenceConduct tax research and stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulationsMentor junior staff, providing guidance and review of their workDevelop and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communicationSupport the firm's business development and client service goalsOversee financial statement Reviews, Compilations and Preparation engagementsQualifications:CPA license, exam parts passed and qualified to sit for remaining sections requiredBachelor's degree in Accounting or related field (Master's in Taxation preferred)Minimum of 3 years of recent public accounting experience with a strong focus on taxationProficiency with tax software (e.g., ProSystem fx, Lacerte, or similar)Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectivelyClient-focused mindset with a collaborative attitudeWhat We Offer:Higher base salary and performance-based bonusesFlexible work environment with opportunities for hybrid workProfessional development and continuing education supportPaid time off and holidaysA supportive team culture that values integrity, trust, and excellenceReady to Join Us?If you're a dedicated tax professional looking for a long-term home where your expertise will be valued and your contributions recognized, we'd love to hear from you.
