Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Warehouse Associate specializing in FBA and Inventory Control to join our logistics team. This role involves managing inventory levels, ensuring accurate stock placement, and supporting efficient warehouse operations within a fast-paced e-commerce environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in supply chain management, inventory control, and data analysis to optimize warehouse processes and contribute to overall supply chain efficiency.

Duties

  • Manage inbound and outbound shipments, including shipping & receiving and order fulfillment processes.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure stock accuracy and perform inventory control activities using warehouse management systems (WMS).
  • Coordinate with procurement and sourcing teams to maintain optimal stock levels, utilizing demand planning and inventory management techniques.
  • Utilize data mining, data analytics, and visualization tools such as Power BI and Tableau to analyze inventory trends, identify root causes of discrepancies, and implement process improvements.
  • Support category management, merchandising, and materials handling to streamline warehouse distribution.
  • Collaborate with logistics providers, 3PL partners, and supplier management teams to optimize supply chain operations.
  • Assist with materials management, production planning, and stock stocking strategies to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Use ERP systems like AS400 or similar platforms for data collection, analysis, and reporting related to inventory and procurement activities.
  • Operate forklifts safely for materials handling when necessary.
  • Maintain compliance with safety standards during heavy lifting and materials handling tasks.
  • Contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives by analyzing supply chain analytics and implementing best practices.

Skills

  • Strong knowledge of supply chain management, warehouse distribution, and inventory control principles.
  • Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS)
  • Experience with procurement processes, sourcing strategies, contract management, and negotiations.
  • Analytical skills with the ability to perform root cause analysis, financial modeling, demand planning, and logistics optimization.
  • Familiarity with retail management concepts including merchandising and materials handling.
  • Ability to utilize data analytics for process improvement using tools such as Nielsen or supply chain analytics platforms.
  • Hands-on experience with shipping & receiving operations in an e-commerce setting.
  • Capable of heavy lifting when required while maintaining safety standards.
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in stock management and analysis tasks.
  • Strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration across procurement, logistics, and warehouse teams.
