Home Care Director's Assistant

Helping U Homecare is a leading provider of compassionate and reliable home care services throughout New York. We take pride in supporting our clients and caregivers with professionalism, respect, and quality service.

We're seeking a reliable and organized Home Care Director's Assistant to support the daily operations of our Home Care Department. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, comfortable in a fast-paced setting, and experienced with home care systems and administrative processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide daily administrative and operational support to the Director
  • Manage document processing, scanning, faxing, and email communication
  • Support onboarding and compliance functions, including E-Verify and CHRC/Home Care Registry checks
  • Coordinate communication through Text Request and Care Connect
  • Handle Workers' Compensation, Disability, and FMLA filings
  • Utilize HHAeXchange, Nevvon, and NYBest Medical portals
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee and client records

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in home care or healthcare administration preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Proficient in Google Workspace (Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets)
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
  • Professional and dependable with strong communication skills
