Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to delivering high-quality dishes in a fast-paced environment. This role is essential in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently, contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

Duties

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards, ensuring consistency and quality.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
  • Handle food items with care, ensuring proper storage and handling techniques are followed.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
  • Utilize knife skills effectively for food preparation tasks, including chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a culinary role such as Line Cook or Prep Cook is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques.
  • Experience in high-volume restaurant settings is advantageous.
  • Excellent knife skills and proficiency in various cooking methods are essential.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
