Position Overview

As Store Manager, you'll lead our Capitol Hill location team in delivering exceptional service while maintaining operational excellence. You'll be responsible for creating a positive work environment, driving sales growth, and ensuring our high standards of pet care and customer service are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high-performing team through effective training, coaching, and mentorship
• Oversee daily store operations, including merchandising, inventory management, and store presentation
• Ensure exceptional pet parent experiences through personalized service and product expertise
• Manage store financials, including cash handling, sales targets, and operational budgets
• Implement and maintain company policies, procedures, and safety standards
• Build strong relationships with customers and the Capitol Hill community
• Coordinate with groomers and retail staff to maintain smooth operations

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience managing teams of 4 or more employees
• 6+ months experience in customer-facing roles, preferably in pet retail
• Strong leadership and team-building abilitiesExcellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven track record in retail operations and sales
• Passion for pets and pet care
• Ability to work flexible hours including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Physical ability to move merchandise, stand for extended periods, and assist with store maintenance
