Faculty Position

The George Washington University Medical Faculty Associates, an independent, non-profit clinical practice group affiliated with the George Washington University is seeking a full-time faculty member in the Department of Urology. Opportunities are available to collaborate with colleagues of the George Washington Cancer Center that brings together the resources of the University, the GW Medical Faculty Associates, and the GW University Hospital to expand current research efforts in the fight against cancer and to position our institution as the premier cancer care provider in the Washington, D.C. area. Appointment to this full-time academic position will be made at an academic rank (instructor/ assistant professor/ associate professor/ full professor) and salary commensurate with experience.
Specific Duties And Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to delivering excellent patient care, teaching residents and medical students, and pursuing scholarly interests.
Minimum Qualifications
Applicants must be board certified or board eligible in Urology, have completed an ACGME - accredited residency in Urology, and be fellowship trained in Urologic Oncology at the time of appointment, and eligible for licensure in the District of Columbia, Virginia and Maryland. Applicants must provide evidence of experience in managing urologic/oncology conditions and in clinical care, clinical teaching, and scholarly achievements. Applicants must also provide evidence of minimum invasive surgical robotic skills.
