Your Mission:
We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented
HR Specialist
to support the daily operations of our
Human Resources Team
in the US. Reporting directly to the US HR Director, you will have experience managing HR systems, working with a PEO, and supporting payroll and benefits administration.
This role will also support compensation cases and ensure compliance with reporting requirements. The
HR Specialist
plays a key role in maintaining data accuracy, supporting the employee lifecycle, and ensuring the smooth and compliant execution of HR processes in a fast-growing organization
Key Responsibilities:
Payroll & Benefits
- Serve as the primary point of contact for payroll administration through the company's PEO.
- Review and validate payroll data, including new hires, terminations, and compensation changes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Support annual benefits renewals and open enrollment processes.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, benefits, and related HR policies.
- Partner with the PEO to ensure compliance and accurate reporting.
HR Systems & Administration
- Maintain accurate employee data in HR platforms, including Workday and Deel.
- Manage employee lifecycle updates (onboarding, promotions, transfers, terminations).
- Support new hire onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring a positive employee experience.
- Prepare regular HR reports and maintain compliance documentation.
- Collaborate with Finance on headcount reporting and payroll reconciliations.
Compensation & Compliance
- Support as main point of contact for compensation cases.
- Coordinate with employees, managers, and the PEO to ensure timely reporting and claims management.
- Track and document all workplace injuries and claims activity, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
General HR Support
- Coordinate employment verifications and HR-related documentation requests.
- Support the US HR Director and leadership team with projects, audits, and policy implementation
- Contribute to ongoing process improvements and HR system optimization.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 2 - 4 years of experience in HR administration, HR operations, or related role.
- Experience managing payroll and benefits through a PEO (e.g., ADP, Deel, TriNet, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with Workday and/or Deel strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with compensation case management and reporting requirements.
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy in managing confidential data.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of an additional language (for example, Spanish) beyond English will be considered a plus.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growing environment with evolving priorities.
