What matters mostTo excel as a Part-Time/Full-Time Respite Worker with Owen Health Care Inc., several key skills and attributes are essential. You'll need to engage children effectively, delivering quality care in a friendly, patient, and compassionate manner. Strong verbal communication skills are critical for initiating and maintaining conversations with managers, clients, and parents, ensuring seamless service delivery and prompt issue resolution.
Consistency in attendance and punctuality is expected to provide reliable support to families. Additionally, if there are any changes in contact information, you must promptly inform your direct supervisor. Ideal applicants should possess experience working with children with disabilities and demonstrate effective interpersonal skills, fostering satisfactory working relationships with families and other professionals.
