If you care deeply about keeping people safe, love being out in the field, and want to build a meaningful career in construction safety, we'd love to meet you.

What You'll Do
We are hiring for multiple levels, and responsibilities will vary based on experience.

Safety Specialists — Entry to Mid-Level
Support the development, coordination, and implementation of field safety programs.
You Will:

  • Visit jobsites to observe crews, support hazard recognition, and promote safe practices.
  • Assist with reviewing work environments and identifying potential hazards.
  • Support implementation of OSHA, state, and company safety standards.
  • Participate in accident investigations and assist with documentation and root cause analysis.
  • Respond to safety-related questions as a field resource.
  • Conduct new hire safety orientations and assist with on-the-job training (Aerial Lift, Forklift, etc.).
  • Help develop safety meeting topics and monthly field communications.
  • Support pre-construction safety planning and assist in developing site-specific plans.
  • Promote open communication between field and office regarding all safety concerns.

This is a great opportunity for someone early in their safety career — or someone with field experience looking to transition into construction safety.

Safety Managers — Experienced Safety Leaders
Lead and oversee safety programs across projects, departments, and branches.
You Will:

  • Champion a proactive, people-first safety culture across our organization.
  • Conduct regular jobsite assessments, identify risks, and implement corrective actions.
  • Coach supervisors and field leadership on safe work practices and hazard recognition.
  • Develop and deliver safety training programs that meet regulatory requirements.
  • Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and safety program improvements.
  • Oversee documentation, reporting, workers' compensation processes, and compliance requirements.
  • Participate in operations meetings and support project planning and execution.
  • Mentor developing safety team members and contribute to long-term department growth.
  • Recommend and implement improvements to policies, procedures, and safety strategies

This role is ideal for experienced safety professionals ready to step into leadership, training, and program ownership responsibilities.

What We're Looking For

We are open to a wide range of experience levels — from early-career professionals to seasoned construction safety leaders.

Depending on the level, you may bring:

  • Experience in construction safety, field operations, safety program support, or industrial environments
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations and construction industry safety standards
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to influence, coach, and encourage safe behavior
  • Curiosity, humility, and a desire to learn and grow in the safety profession
  • Professional certifications (CHST, OHST, CSP, TUV, etc.) — a plus, but not required for Specialist roles

Most importantly, you bring a servant leader mindset and a commitment to keeping people safe.

Work Environment
These roles are field-based with regular travel to job sites across Wisconsin and surrounding areas. You'll work outdoors, partner closely with project teams, and play a visible role in shaping our safety culture every day.

Join a Company Where Safety is More Than a Requirement — It's a Value

If you're passionate about protecting people, supporting field teams, and helping shape a culture where safety comes first, Pieper Electric could be the perfect place to build your career.

Apply today — and help us continue to build a safer future together.
