Visions is seeking a Student Technology Support Specialist (Bilingual Russian/Ukrainian and English, required) to perform a wide variety of operational and administrative duties, and applicable technical work by applying existing policies, procedures and guidelines; applying fundamental concepts, practices and procedures related to assigned duties. Incumbents apply a broad range of knowledge and expertise of department practices; procedures and guidelines; may assign work to, establish daily priorities, train, and/or review the work of other Student Technology Services (STS) part-time staff; and assist with the resolution of more difficult or complex problems/issues.

This position will work at our office in Gold River, CA, Monday-Friday, with an 8 hour shift between 8:00 a.m. - 6:30 p.m.

Requirements / Qualifications

  • Two (2) years experience with any combination of education, training and experience supporting computer operations and/or maintenance of desktop peripherals, word-processing, spreadsheet, technology support, and telecommunications that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities as described in job description.
  • Charter School/School experience a plus
  • Technology certification and/or applicable coursework desired
  • REQUIRED: Russian/Ukrainian bilingual required and able to translate and interpret in an educational setting (language assessment will be required prior to hire)
