Rincon Research Corporation is looking for a DevSecOps Engineer to develop advanced secure cloud computing solutions for complex national security and defense challenges in signal processing, geolocation, and communication. What are the primary responsibilities in the AWS Cloud Systems Administrator position?

Core responsibilities include designing real-time cloud processing solutions, implementing advanced signal processing and geolocation algorithms with efficient software, testing with real data, and delivering applications to front-line customer facilities. You craft effective user interfaces and data visualization tools. A key duty is staying current with the latest technologies, tools, and methodologies, as well as experimenting with new technologies to bring innovative solutions into RRC projects. RRC team members can expect to work across all functional areas: systems engineering, development, integration and testing, deployment and operations & maintenance, gaining direct mission feedback from customers and seeing your work make a meaningful impact. You are encouraged and expected to suggest improvements for the applications and frameworks you work on. The ability to work independently with minimal supervision and to self-initiator is essential.

What required background will make you successful?

• Experience with Linux system administration
• Ability to implement configuration management using tools such as Ansible or Puppet.
• Experience installing and administering Kubernetes, Longhorn, and enterprise scale cloud applications.
• Experience working with security implementation guides to develop and maintain compliance baselines.
• Experience creating and maintain documentation, such as user guides, knowledge bases, change requests, and system maintenance records
• Experience maintaining systems operations functions, including system vulnerability patching, software updates, performance monitoring, system maintenance, and performance optimization and automation.
• CompTIA Security+ Certification
• Ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI security clearance
• US CITIZENSHIP REQUIRED

Preferred skills:

• AWS Associate or higher Cloud Certification
• Familiarity with Agile development processes
• Current TS/SCI clearance

Where is the position located?

This position is located at our Tucson, AZ Headquarters. Remote work/telework is not available for this position.
