As a Senior Living Advisor with Assisted Living Locators in Northern Virginia, you will play a crucial role in helping families navigate the complex process of finding the right senior living and care solutions. This is a 1099 independent contractor position, offering flexibility and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of seniors and their families.

Please note: This position is 100% commission-based, so candidates need to be prepared to have a few months with little or no income as they develop their referral sources. However, the potential for a comfortable income once the necessary relationships are in place is significant. We provide extensive training and support throughout your journey.

***This position is a work-from-home position, but requires in-person engagement in the assigned area, which will be focused in Alexandria and Arlington, VA, with possible need to work in Southern Maryland (Prince George's County, Charles County, Calvert County, St Mary's County) or in Fairfax County.***

You will:

  • Proactively generate leads through networking, community outreach, and relationship building with healthcare professionals, senior organizations, and referral sources.
  • Provide expert guidance on a range of senior care options, including assisted living,

    memory care, and independent living communities.
  • Conduct assessments to understand the specific needs, preferences, and budget of seniors and their families.
  • Schedule and accompany clients on tours of recommended communities, ensuring they find the best possibe match.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, local resources, and the latest senior car options.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date information in CRM system, ensuring all client interactions, notes, and progress are consistently recorded.
  • Manage your own schedule and client relationships as an independent contractor.

Qualifications:

  • Background in senior healthcare and established relationships with local hospitals/rehabs is strongly appreciated.
  • Prior experience as a Registered Nurse, Discharge Planner, Social Worker or Case Manager is highly valued.
  • Experience in business development, lead generation, and sales is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a compassionate and empathetic

    approach.
  • A good fit requires a passion for helping seniors and their families to find dignified solutions. - Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Reliability is key
