Only one patient in the office seen at a time Looking for a long-term attentive, service-oriented assistant who works independently and who has a positive attitude and growth mindset. Also has the following attributes: good listener, reliable, punctual, good communicator, detail-oriented, organized. Assistant is given a lot of autonomy in the office.

We primarily perform restorative and cosmetic dentistry, minor orthodontic treatment & hygiene/maintenance.

Responsibilities:

- Assist the dentist during dental procedures- be prepared for the next step

- Prepare and break down treatment rooms

- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment

- Organizing lab cases

- Managing inventory

- Help with social media/creativity projects to promote the practice

- Attendance of a marketing event 1-2x/month outside of office hours

Skills:

- Knowledge of dental terminology

- Ability to assist with dental procedures, including four-handed dentistry, suctioning, and providing patient comfort

- Obtain & upload digital dental x-rays

- Knowledge of infection control

- Dental receptionist experience- Responding to treatment-specific inquiries/following-up on patient care

- Time management/efficiency

- Obtaining insurance breakdowns (Training provided)

- Utilization of a Trios 5 Intraoral scanner/intraoral scanner (Training provided)

- Assist with photography (Training provided)

- Experience using an electronic medical record - Dentrix Ascend (Training provided)

- CPR certified (Training provided)

- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality (Training provided)

- Knowledge of OSHA regulations (Training provided)

Current Hours (Patient hours are from 9 AM - 6 PM on Mo/Tues and 10 AM - 7 PM on Thurs):

Monday & Tuesday: 8:30 AM - 6:30 PM

Thursday: 9:30 AM - 7:30 PM

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $ $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 27 – 30 per week
