Role Overview
We're seeking a driven and strategic Assistant Vice President of Sales to accelerate growth across the financial services and fintech sectors. This individual will lead end-to-end sales efforts, from identifying new opportunities to closing deals, while deepening relationships with institutional clients. The ideal candidate combines consultative selling skills with a strong grasp of financial markets and data technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the full sales cycle: prospecting, pitching, negotiating, and closing.
  • Expand the client base while nurturing existing relationships.
  • Deliver tailored solutions that address client pain points and demonstrate product value.
  • Partner with internal teams to support demos, proposals, and onboarding.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline data and performance metrics using CRM tools.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and competitive dynamics to inform sales strategy.
  • Represent the company at meetings, virtual presentations, and industry events.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of B2B sales experience, in financial data or fintech.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong understanding of financial workflows and data-driven solutions.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and productivity tools.
