The Line Cook is responsible for preparing and executing menu items according to recipe standards, ensuring quality, consistency, and presentation. This role works closely with the kitchen team to keep service running smoothly, maintain a clean and organized work station, and support a positive and efficient kitchen environment. Pay is negotiable and based on knowledge & experience. Must have weekend and night availability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, cook, and plate food items in accordance with recipes and presentation standards.
  • Set up and stock station with necessary supplies before each shift.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the station and kitchen areas.
  • Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times.
  • Work as part of a team to ensure food is prepared and served in a timely manner.
  • Assist with prep work, including chopping, measuring, and portioning ingredients.
  • Communicate with chefs, managers, and other team members to coordinate service.
  • Properly store food and rotate stock to minimize waste.
  • Assist in closing and cleaning duties at the end of shifts.
  • Perform other kitchen tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • Previous cooking or kitchen experience preferred but not required.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under pressure.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
