Job Summary

The San Diego branch office of Tiffany & Bosco, P.A. seeks an experienced, independent, and hardworking Paralegal to join our team on a full-time basis. Ideal candidates will have at least one year of experience as a paralegal. Litigation experience is preferred but not required. Additionally, ideal candidates will have experience that demonstrates a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Exercise independent judgment and decision making while maintaining a high level of confidentiality and upholding ethical standards
  • Be a self-motivated professional capable of prioritizing multiple tasks under tight deadlines when necessary
  • Ability to manage and meet court and client deadlines
  • Assist with the drafting, processing, filing and service of litigation and bankruptcy documents for multiple attorneys
  • Communicate with clients and opposing counsel
  • Provide every client with respect and excellent service

Desired Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • At least one year of legal experience in a legal assistant, paralegal, or similar role
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Exceptional computer processing skills, including high-level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat
  • Excellent grammar and proofing skills
  • Team player
  • Positive attitude
  • Prior experience in financial services/mortgage default industry preferred but not required

Job Type: Full-time

  • 8 hour shift
