The Food Service Operations Assistant will assist in overseeing the daily operations and organization of the following profit centers (The Lakeside Restaurant and Lounge and Veranda Bar; Look Out Bar and Grill, Candy Apple, Banquet Facilities, and any future locations).

Salary $20 to $25 per hour based on experience, Benefits include:

  • Inventory and Supplies Management

  • Assist with receiving products and checking orders.
  • Assist in tracking supply inventory levels and placing orders for supplies as needed.
  • Input food orders as needed
  • Update point of sale system to reflect current pricing
  • Customer Service
  • Serve as a point of contact between management and staff, and between clients and the department for specific requests.
  • Address inquiries, complaints, and requests in a timely manner.
  • Manages online review presence
  • Assist in coordination of catering orders for events.
  • Communication and Coordination
  • Send out Group Function reports weekly to staff
  • Generate staff memos as instructed by food and beverage management
  • Assist in the implementation and monitoring of marketing programs
  • Administrative Support
  • Perform general office duties such as answering phones, email correspondence with guests, restaurant reservations, and ordering supplies.
  • Attend Banquet Event Meetings and Food and Beverage Meetings
  • Maintain Food Service Revenue spreadsheet daily
  • Input staff schedules by location
  • Manage cash needs for Food and Beverage office
  • Assisting Sales department with event tickets
