Application Developer

An international IT Service & Solutions Provider is seeking a talented Application Developer to design, develop, and support business applications using Microsoft Power Apps. The ideal candidate will not only have strong technical expertise but also proven experience in communicating with stakeholders, conducting requirement hearings, and preparing detailed requirement and specification documents. This role requires a balance of technical development skills and business analysis capabilities to ensure solutions align with organizational needs.Key ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document requirements.Conduct requirement hearings, workshops, and interviews to understand business processes and objectives.Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications documentation.Design, develop, and deploy applications using Microsoft Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven).Create and maintain requirement documents, specification documents, and user guides.Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and enhancements for existing Power Apps solutions.Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams to ensure smooth deployment and adoption.While performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift 10-25 pounds if needed. You may also be required to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision and hearing.Other duties assigned depending on various projects requirements.QualificationsBachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or related fieldProven experience in Power Apps development (Canvas and Model-Driven).Strong background in stakeholder communication, requirements gathering, and documentation.Hands-on experience creating requirement documents, functional specifications, and technical specifications.Familiarity with Power Automate, Power BI, and Dataverse.Knowledge of Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and Dynamics 365 integration.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Preferred SkillsKnowledge of SQL, APIs, and data modeling.Microsoft Power Platform certifications (e.g., PL-100, PL-200) are a plus.Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Activ8 Recruitment & Solutions / Renaissance Resources Inc. has been a trusted leader in North American recruiting for Japanese businesses for over 25 years.
