Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled tesla/EV Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electric automotive repair and maintenance, with experience in diagnosing and resolving tesla mechanical issues. This role requires a commitment to providing high-quality service to our customers while ensuring that all vehicles are safe and reliable.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine vehicle maintenance, including oil changes, tire service, and brake repairs.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical issues in various vehicle systems, including powertrain, suspension, and alignment.
  • Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete repairs and maintenance tasks.
  • Work with automotive electrical systems to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify potential problems and recommend necessary repairs.
  • Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used for each vehicle.
  • Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients about their vehicle's needs.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow in the shop environment.

Skills

  • Proven experience as a tesla Mechanic with dealership experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics and repair techniques for diesel engines, transmissions, air brakes, and more.
  • Familiarity with Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) is a plus.
  • Proficient in reading schematics and technical manuals for vehicle systems.
  • Mechanical knowledge of shocks & struts, alignment, suspension, tire service, and automotive repair processes.
  • Experience with auto body repair and welding is advantageous.
  • Ability to utilize both hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in diagnosing issues.
  • Excellent customer service skills to interact positively with clients.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $ $32.77 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week
