Position Summary:

SurgOne is a leading multi-specialty medical practice dedicated to providing exceptional patient care through innovation, collaboration, and operational excellence. We are seeking a strategic, data-driven leader to join our Administrative Team as a Director of Analytics and Strategy. This position plays a critical role in shaping organizational performance, driving operational efficiency, and supporting long-term growth across all specialties.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership & Collaboration

  • Serve as a liaison between physicians, administrators, and executive leadership to ensure alignment of organizational goals.
  • Facilitate cross-departmental communication and decision-making among specialty divisions.
  • Support the execution of strategic goals established by the Board of Directors and executive management.

Financial Oversight & Analysis

  • Partner with finance and revenue cycle teams to ensure accurate billing, coding, and collections across service lines.
  • Monitor productivity, cost efficiency, and profitability by specialty; deliver actionable insights to improve performance.
  • Assist with the development of annual budgets, forecasts, and business plans.
  • Oversee accounts payable and coordinate with external accounting partners on practice financials.
  • Manage vendor contracts and facility leases to ensure optimal terms and value.

Analytics & Business Intelligence

  • Streamline access to data analytics and reporting tools for leadership and physicians.
  • Design and maintain dashboards to track key performance indicators and operational metrics.
  • Identify and implement data-driven solutions that enhance decision-making and strategic planning.

Growth & Innovation

  • Identify new service lines, partnerships, or expansion opportunities that support long-term sustainability.
  • Evaluate emerging trends in medical and surgical practice management to maintain a competitive advantage.
  • Lead cross-functional projects aimed at improving operational efficiency and patient experience.

Culture & Leadership

  • Promote a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement across departments.
  • Provide mentorship and leadership to administrative and operational staff.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field required;
  • Minimum 
    7 years of progressive leadership experience
     in healthcare operations, preferably in a multi-specialty or surgical practice environment.
  • Proven track record of managing complex operations with multiple physician groups and service lines.
  • Strong understanding of revenue cycle management, regulatory compliance, and healthcare finance.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to implement strategies that drive measurable results.

Working Conditions:

Work Environment

  • The Director of Analytics and Strategy works primarily in an office environment within the medical practice's corporate office. The role requires regular interaction with physicians, clinical managers, and administrative staff across multiple locations.

Schedule

  • This is a full-time, exempt position. Standard business hours are typically Monday through Friday, with occasional early morning, evening, or weekend meetings as needed to support leadership initiatives or project deadlines.

Hybrid / On-Site Expectations

  • Depending on organizational needs, this position may offer a hybrid schedule; however, regular on-site presence is expected to support collaboration with physicians and operations teams.

Travel Requirements

  • Occasional local or regional travel may be required between practice sites, partner offices, or for professional development and conferences.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally in person, by phone, and electronically.
  • Occasional lifting of office materials or equipment up to 20 pounds.

Pace and Demands:

Compensation:
