Overview:

We're seeking a motivated
Trade Support Compliance Analyst
to join a leading financial institution in New York. This role supports sales and trading supervisory functions, compliance monitoring, and control framework enhancements across Institutional Equity Division (IED) teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with IED supervisors, traders, and sales teams on supervisory and compliance matters.
  • Review and monitor daily sales and trading exception reports (e.g., Volcker, Order Protection, Best Execution).
  • Develop, test, and implement new control and exception reports to meet evolving regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with Compliance Surveillance to review and resolve escalations related to market abuse alerts.
  • Support ongoing risk management and information security initiatives.
  • Review Firm and IED-specific policies for compliance application.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams in Risk Management, Technology, Operations, and Compliance.
  • Manage access reviews and approvals for IED trading applications.

Qualifications:

  • 2–5 years' experience in Compliance, Risk Management, or Trading Support within financial services.
  • Strong understanding of control frameworks and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with data analytics or visualization tools (e.g., Tableau) a plus.
  • Self-starter with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset.
