Title | Pharmacy Technician I/Admin AssistantReports To | Facility ManagerOverviewThe Pharmacy Technician will perform laboratory and pharmacy-related duties under the direct supervision of an authorized Nuclear Pharmacist. This job involves working in a clean room as well as occupational exposure to radiation.Essential Duties and Responsibilities· Perform the duties associated with compounding, dispensing, and distribution of FDG and NaF, including data entry with Pinestar for end-of-day reports and daily dose management reports.· Ensure compliance with USP , , proposed regulations, or other state pharmacy requirements as applicable, at the site level; maintain personal license in good standing through applicable state laws.· Complete cGMP documents as required within SOFIE's Quality Management System.· Ensure aseptic operations follow internal procedures (gowning, cleaning/sanitation, sterility, environmental monitoring, etc.), customer requirements, and FDA regulations.· Maintain a clean and safe working environment.· Perform radiation safety duties according to SOFIE's Corporate Radiation Compliance Program and site licensing requirements.· Provide quality customer service associated with radiopharmaceuticals to physicians, healthcare workers, customers, etc.:· Take orders from customers as applicable by state regulations· Follow-up with customer inquiries· Document pharmacy/customer complaints and immediately notify pharmacist· Perform inventory management:· Maintain production/QC/cleaning supply levels as appropriate· Perform inventory reporting· Perform material acceptance according to SOPs· Clean classified and non-classified areas according to SOPs.· Perform environmental monitoring of classified areas according to SOPs.· Responsible for opening change controls and initiating, maintaining, and reviewing SOFIE network and site specific procedures relative to their job functions.· Complete cGMP documents as required and assist site and corporate Quality Assurance as required.· Attend internal meetings as required.· Maintains warehouse and inventory for all site production material· Inventory office supplies and make purchases when needed· Works with the Corporate office to ensure billing is accurate· Works with Sales to handle the tracking of all credits· Enters customer information in the system and keeps information on file· Assists Pharmacy in entering misc. information, prescriptions, etc. as needed· Maintains a daily report that details events of the day at the facility that affect the administrative department· Checks in all packages. Copies, files, and sends all packing slips, PO/RO's as required by purchasing· Manage MSDS book and assures that all vendors provide current information· Tracks UPS and FEDEX· Answers telephones, fax, photocopy, and file· Types and creates forms/memos for the staff· Takes minutes for all meetings, types, and distributes· Organizes office – create files to maintain easy access to information· Assures that site is clean· Manages the calendar and schedules meetings, as necessary· Creates and maintains database and spreadsheet files· Collects all new hire paperwork and forwards to HR, distributes all HR forms, policies and/or information· Assists with time cards and forwarding payroll hours to Payroll for hourly employees· All other duties as assignedQualifications· High school diploma required; associate's degree in chemistry, engineering, or natural sciences preferred.
