Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cleaning and hospitality, ensuring that all areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort. This role is essential in providing a welcoming environment for guests and maintaining the overall appearance of our facilities.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POSITION:

The chambermaid is responsible to perform all the tasks as listed below and to ensure the cleanliness of his or her units of assignment:

GENERAL TASKS

Every attempt has been made to outline all of the details of this position. However, there may be other tasks inherent in the position that may not be listed below.

-Empty waste baskets and sanitize as necessary

-Tidy Rooms

-Change Linen

-Make Beds

-Remove Trash and light clean rooms

-Dust and clean surfaces as needed

-Wipe down furniture

-Hugh dust valance and air ducts as needed

-Clean emergency spills upon being seen or as requested

-Immediately report repair needs and dangerous conditions to the Supervisor

-Participate in all training sessions and fire drills as per shift.

COMPLETES ALL OTHER INHERENT AND LOGICAL TASKS AND THOSE ASSIGNED BY THE IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

1.Must be at least 18 years of age.

2.Must be able to communicate effectively utilizing oral, written, and technical modes of communication.

3.Must comply with annual physical updates and PPD screening requirements.

4.Must be flexible with time schedules andbe able to assume overtime duties as warranted by emergency situations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $16.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
