Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team. As an Estimator, you will play a crucial role in the construction process by providing accurate and detailed cost estimates for projects. This is a full-time position.

Responsibilities:

- Analyze project plans and specifications to determine project scope and requirements

- Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for labor, materials, and equipment

- Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for estimating purposes

- Utilize software such as Bluebeam and HeavyBid to create estimates

- Negotiate pricing with vendors and subcontractors to ensure competitive bids

- Review and analyze bids from subcontractors and suppliers

- Assist in the development of project budgets and cost control measures

- Provide support to project management team with ongoing cost analysis and reporting

- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices in construction estimating

Skills:

- Strong knowledge of construction estimating principles and techniques

- Proficiency in using estimating software such as Bluebeam and HeavyBid

- Excellent mathematical skills for accurate calculations

- Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and contracts

- Strong negotiation skills to obtain competitive pricing from vendors and subcontractors

- Knowledge of project management principles and practices

- Attention to detail to ensure accurate estimates

- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field (preferred)

- Proven experience as an Estimator in the construction industry

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
