Duties Description STANDARD DUTIES: Under the direction of a Senior Boiler Inspector, the incumbent will schedule regulatory safety inspections of high and low pressure boilers and boiler installations. Inspections are conducted to ensure their safe operating condition and to enforce compliance with statutory provisions of the Labor Law and industrial rules relating to boiler operations. May conduct inspections as the result of complaints or accidents. Inspections may require climbing through small openings and on top of boilers.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Ability to initiate and maintain relationships across a diverse set of stakeholders

Employees will then be afforded all of the same rights and privileges of competitive class employees of New York State.
