*Job Summary And Qualifications*
Supervises the performance of Laboratory personnel within flow cytometry specialized section of the clinical laboratory. Orients and trains within these sections and performs testing as needed. Performs duties with a perceptive depth of clinical laboratory tests and procedures, which require the exercise of independent judgement and responsibility. Thorough knowledge of CAP, TJC, CLIA regulations. Assists Manager and /or Director with projects as needed.

What you will do in this role:

• Supervises workflow and staff; educates and trains employees, maintains daily work schedule.
• Evaluates reagents, equipment, new test methods, QA and PI data.
• Has thorough knowledge of CAP, TJC, CLIA regulations as each relates to Laboratory functions.
• Participates in employee evaluations.
• Ensures that all policies and procedures are performed as defined in section policy and procedure manuals approved by the Medical Director of the Laboratory.
• Receive, accession and process sample specimens according to departments protocols.
• Preliminary data analysis and technical interpretation for all Flow Cytometry data generated in the laboratory.
• Testing includes leukemia and lymphoma phenotyping on Bone Marrow, Peripheral Blood, Tissues, and fluids, CD3 Enumeration and Stem Cell Enumeration.

What qualifications you will need:

• Bachelor's Degree is required
• Medical Laboratory Scientist, or Certified Medical Lab, or Certified Lab Technologist, or Clinical Laboratory Scientist, or Medical Lab Scientist, or American Medical Technologist is required
• 3 years' experience in flow cytometry is required
