Summary

We're looking for a Senior Project Manager with deep experience in healthcare facility construction—someone who knows how to deliver complex hospital projects with a focus on MEP systems (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) and HVAC infrastructure. You'll oversee planning, coordination, and execution from pre-construction through closeout, ensuring the project stays on budget, on schedule, and compliant with healthcare construction standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage hospital construction projects from conception through completion.
  • Oversee MEP and HVAC design, coordination, and installation to meet healthcare standards and OSHPD/HCAI requirements.
  • Develop and manage budgets, schedules, contracts, and risk assessments.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and hospital stakeholders.
  • Ensure all work meets California building codes and healthcare compliance standards.
  • Drive construction progress meetings and handle change management efficiently.
  • Manage project documentation, cost reporting, and forecasting.
  • Mentor project engineers and assistant PMs.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • 10+ years of experience in commercial construction with 5+ years in hospital/healthcare projects.
  • Proven background in MEP coordination and HVAC systems within hospital environments.
  • Strong understanding of OSHPD/HCAI compliance, permitting, and inspection processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage large-scale budgets ($50M+ preferred).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficient in Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, and other construction management software.
