Fourte International is an integrated organization combining a law firm, real estate brokerage, property management, and institute, licensed in both New Jersey and New York. Our client demand currently exceeds capacity, so we're expanding our legal team with a motivated Staff Attorney focused on real estate transactions and related litigation

Role Summary:

You will manage a portfolio of real estate matters, both transactional and litigation, supported by virtual paralegals.

Responsibilities:

-Manage a portfolio of real estate transactions and related litigation, from intake through resolution.

-Draft, review, and negotiate purchase agreements, leases, addenda, and closing documents.

-Conduct title, escrow, and site due diligence, resolving defects or issues as they arise.

-Prepare and argue motions, pleadings, and discovery responses in court.

-Coordinate with brokers, lenders, inspectors, and title companies to ensure smooth closings.

-Maintain proactive and professional client communication, keeping all stakeholders informed.

-Supervise and collaborate with virtual paralegals and contract attorneys to streamline workload.

-Identify process gaps and contribute to the development of SOPs and legal templates for efficiency.

Desired Skills & Qualifications:

-Licensed Attorney in New Jersey or New York.

-Minimum 2–4 years of real estate law experience — transactional and/or litigation.

-Excellent legal drafting, analytical, and oral advocacy skills.

-Familiarity with title review, contract negotiation, and closing coordination.

-Demonstrated ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

-Strong client management and negotiation abilities.

-Tech-savvy and comfortable working with cloud-based case management tools and virtual teams.

-Detail-oriented, organized, and eager to contribute to a growing, multidisciplinary practice.
