What you will doAs a Senior Manager/Director in our People & Change practice, you will have overall responsibility to plan and manage client engagements, lead the day-to-day operation and execution of services and contribute to business development activities by:
- Motivating your team and creating a culture of inclusion. Providing day-to-day guidance and actionable coaching to your team. You will manage, mentor and train junior team members, as well as provide support to other service lines within Management Consulting.
- Being responsible for overall engagement planning and delivery as well as managing engagement economics using available reports and data.
- Managing the delivery of multiple and/or large-scale client projects ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery of quality work which meets the client requirements and expectations.
- Identifying business development opportunities and contributing to the development and submission of proposals and bid documents. Leading pursuits aligned to client issues.
- Support in managing business operations such as resource allocation, team planning, succession planning, and practice strategy.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients in the Vancouver market to drive business growth.
- Being known as a trusted advisor and as a champion within your sector/service.
- Supporting our clients in the planning and delivery of people focused on Workforce / HR transformation or organizational design programs, identifying opportunities to best meet their needs and building enduring relationships with their teams.
- Providing a mix of advisory and hands-on implementation services including development, coordination, and execution of engagements with a Workforce / HR Transformation or organizational design lens.
- Working with our clients and teams to develop artifacts and action plans.
- Over 10 years of experience in HR transformation, or organizational design, ideally with consulting, transformational or project-based roles and experience.
- Proven success in project management, delivering projects on time, on-budget, and specifications, with expertise in stakeholder and risk management.
- Strong client-facing skills with a focus on relationship management and business development.
- Ability to develop and maintain relationships in the Vancouver market with key clients.
- Consulting experience in human resources transformation and organizational design.
- Excellent knowledge of project management and facilitation techniques.
- Broad business management experience in consulting or corporate environments.
- University degree in business management, behavioral sciences, or related fields; M.A./M.B.A. in management, human resource management or relevant qualifications.
- At times, business needs arise, and employees are required and agree to work beyond their normal workday or work week to fulfill the accountability required for their job. Likewise, people need time to devote themselves to personal matters, and our approach to flexibility provides for this.
KPMG BC Region Pay Range Information
The expected base salary range for this position is $128,000 to $179,500 and may be eligible for bonus awards. The determination of an applicant's base salary within this range is based on the individual's location, skills & competencies, and unique qualifications. In addition, KPMG offers a comprehensive and competitive Total Rewards program.
