Ridgeview Post Acute is seeking a dietary team member to work as a diet aide. The ideal candidate will have open availability and a flexible schedule and shifts include am, pm, and weekends.

As a diet aide, duties include:

  • Serve meals timely and ensure proper temperature
  • Serve meals in accordance to physician prescribed diets and menu spreadsheets
  • Set up meal trays, food carts, dining room, etc.
  • Assist in daily or scheduled cleaning duties, in accordance with established policies and procedures
  • Maintain a clean workspace and kitchenette
  • Sweep and mop floors as directed
  • Prepare and deliver snacks, etc., as instructed
  • Restock kitchenettes as needed with service ware and snacks/beverages
  • Carry soiled linens to laundry department
  • Carry out garbage
  • Clear dining rooms and take to dishwashing area
  • Perform dishwashing/cleaning procedures. Assure that utensils, etc., are readily available for next meal
  • Additional duties as assigned

It is very important to practice appropriate food safety procedures and to always maintain clean and sanitary work areas. Training will be provided to assist you in maintaining proper sanitation and compliance of policy and regulations.

You will be working with the elderly - therefore, it is required that you are polite, respectful and uphold excellent customer service. We are also seeking someone with good work ethic and who is punctual and dependable. Our staff always strive to accommodate any resident's food and nutritional needs.
