My Auto Store is a leading provider of recycled OEM auto parts, dedicated to sustainability, quality, and exceptional customer service. We take pride in offering high-quality used auto parts while helping protect the environment through recycling and reuse. We're looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accounts Receivable (AR) Specialist to join our growing finance team. This role plays a key part in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring timely collections, and fostering strong customer relationships. This role pays $55 – 70k/yr.  
 
Key Responsibilities: 
Monitor aged receivables and ensure customers adhere to agreed-upon payment terms. 
Prepare and analyze weekly reports on outstanding balances, providing insights on slow-moving debt. 
Enforce credit limits and payment terms to mitigate financial risk. 
Manage A/R billing and collections for domestic and international accounts. 
Process and apply cash receipts, reconcile payments, and investigate discrepancies. 
Maintain accurate financial records through journal entries and spreadsheet updates. 
Research outstanding balances, payment issues, and account variances. 
Handle returns (RMA processing) and resolve customer invoicing disputes. 
Collaborate with internal teams to support a smooth month-end close through timely reporting and reconciliations. 
Perform other related duties as assigned. 
 
Skills & Qualifications: 
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high level of accuracy. 
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for effective customer interactions. 
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. 
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word. 
Experience with accounting systems or ERP platforms is a plus. 
Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. 
 
Education & Experience: 
1–2 years of experience in Accounts Receivable or a related accounting role with direct client interactions. 
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred). 
Willingness to learn and grow within the A/R function.
