UpAvanti provides comprehensive Building Department and Code Consultation services. We are currently seeking highly qualified Commercial Building Electrical Inspectors to fill a part-time position to support our clients in the Sacramento Region with the possibility to go full-time.

Role Description

This is a specialized building electrical inspection role. The electrical inspector will be responsible for conducting building inspections, enforcing codes, reviewing plans, and ensuring compliance with the California Electrical Code, NFPA 70 and local regulations on major commercial projects such as large assembly and high-rise buildings. The qualified candidates must have minimum 15 years of related inspection experience specifically in building electrical field.

Qualifications

Proficiency in Building Electrical Inspections and Inspection techniques

Proficiency in the California Electrical Code

ICC E-2 certification is required

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work effectively in an on-site construction environment

Ability to work in mid-rise and high-rise
