Overview

Join our dynamic pediatric healthcare team as a Pediatric Therapy Technician, where your enthusiasm and dedication will directly and positively impact the therapy services we provide to our young patients. In this vital role, you will support licensed therapists by assisting with therapy sessions, and ensuring a safe, welcoming environment for children. You will also assist our Administrative staff by supporting them with general front office tasks. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will help foster positive therapeutic experiences.

Duties

  • Assist licensed pediatric speech, occupational and physical therapists during therapy sessions by preparing equipment, and helping set up treatment activities.
  • Assist in providing compassionate patient service and care to children across various age groups, ensuring comfort and safety throughout their therapy journey.
  • Support front office group by answering phones, helping patients check in and assist in general office activities.
  • Maintain a clean, organized therapy environment by sanitizing equipment and ensuring all safety protocols are followed.
  • Help support basic clinic functions such as opening and closing, helping patients check in, reporting when supplies need to be replenished, ensuring equipment is maintained, working with linen supplier to ensure linens are properly stocked and helping verify compliance with our certification requirements .
  • Provide support to both our clinical locations (NE and E El Paso) with rotating schedule.

Requirements

  • Prior experience working with pediatric patients or in inpatient/outpatient settings is highly preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with children, families, and healthcare team members.
  • Bi-lingual Spanish speaking is desired
  • Ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy while maintaining professionalism in fast-paced environments.
  • A proactive professional attitude with the ability to follow detailed instructions accurately while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
