Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced, licensed Apartment Locator to join our dynamic team in the DFW area. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of the local rental market, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to efficiently match clients with their ideal apartment homes. This role offers an exciting opportunity to leverage your real estate expertise, negotiation skills, and property management knowledge to assist clients in finding their perfect living space while adhering to Fair Housing regulations and real estate laws.
Duties
- Assist clients in identifying suitable apartment options based on their preferences, budget, and lifestyle needs.
- Conduct property tours and provide detailed information about available units, amenities, and leasing terms.
- Negotiate lease terms and rental agreements to secure favorable outcomes for clients.
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract potential tenants and promote available properties.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local market trends, property availability, and pricing strategies.
- Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations and all relevant real estate laws during client interactions.
- Manage administrative tasks including scheduling appointments, maintaining client records, and processing paperwork efficiently.
- Build strong relationships with property managers, leasing agents, and clients through excellent communication and customer service.
- Stay informed about property management practices and real estate administrative processes to enhance service delivery.
Qualifications
- Valid real estate license for the DFW area.
- Proven experience as an apartment locator or in property management within the DFW market.
- Strong negotiation skills with a focus on client satisfaction.
- Excellent marketing abilities to effectively promote properties.
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse client needs.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations, real estate law, and leasing procedures.
- Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple client requests efficiently.
- Previous experience with real estate administrative tasks is preferred.
- A customer-focused attitude combined with sales experience will contribute to success in this role.
