2222 Veterinary Clinic is currently seeking a Technician Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will be a self-motivated individual with excellent personal skills. We focus on providing top of the line patient care while maintaining exceptional customer service. You must have the ability to multitask and willing to learn new skills daily. Our tech assistants work closely with the veterinary staff in addition to taking care of our boarding dogs and cats.

We are a fast paced, growing, 3 doctor practice. We have a paperless system (VIA), digital radiographs, digital dental radiographs, and ultrasound.

This position is full-time and morning availability is a must. You will be required to work up to 1 weekend a month and work some holidays on a rotational basis.

Pay will be based on experience.

Skills required:

· Animal restraint

· Venipuncture

· IV catheter placement

· Endotracheal intubation

· Knowledge of vaccines and vaccine protocols

· Assisting with radiographs

· Anesthetic monitoring

· Taking detailed history

Daily tasks for this position include:

· Assisting the doctors in all areas of veterinary medicine and surgery

· Assisting with exams

· Ensuring quality care for our patients

· Anesthesia

· Diagnostics including radiology and laboratory tests

· Dental and surgical procedures

· Obtaining vitals on patients

· Animal restraint

· Communication with all aspects of the veterinary team

· Communicate with clients in a professional manner on the status of their pet, along with any other questions they may have.
