Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in HVAC systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with mechanical knowledge and the ability to troubleshoot various HVAC-related issues effectively. The technician will work on a variety of projects, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency of heating and cooling systems.

Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, furnaces, and refrigeration equipment.
  • Read and interpret schematics and blueprints to assess system requirements.
  • Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC equipment to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot issues related to HVAC systems, utilizing diagnostic tools such as an ohmmeter.
  • Perform plumbing tasks related to HVAC installations and repairs as needed.
  • Provide field service support for clients, addressing their HVAC needs promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs performed, and parts used.
  • Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction projects to ensure seamless integration of HVAC systems.
  • Adhere to safety protocols while working with ammonia refrigeration systems or other hazardous materials.

Skills

  • Proven experience as an HVAC technician or similar role with a focus on service technician experience.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform equipment repairs effectively.
  • Familiarity with HVAC design principles and construction practices.
  • Proficiency in refrigeration techniques and air conditioning systems.
  • Experience in property maintenance and appliance repair is a plus.
  • Ability to perform welding tasks as required for system installations or repairs.
  • Knowledge of boiler operations and maintenance procedures is beneficial.

Pay: $ $30.00 per hour
