IT Leader

A world leader in Oil and Gas products and services has engaged Nesco to support a critical hire for them in their global IT team. We are looking for a seasoned IT Leader with extensive CPQ implementation knowledge.
Overview
Reporting to the Senior Director of Enterprise Technology Programs, the
Leader CPQ Transformation
will lead the company's worldwide Configure, Price, Quote (CPQ) initiative. This role owns the strategic vision, execution, and optimization of CPQ systems and processes across multiple regions and business units, ensuring alignment with enterprise goals, compliance, and innovation standards.

You'll manage a global team of program managers, architects, developers, and analysts to deliver scalable, efficient solutions that drive growth and streamline commercial operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Leadership: Define and execute the global CPQ roadmap, balancing strategy with tactical delivery.
• Team Building: Develop and mentor a high-performing global CPQ organization.
• Program Management: Oversee large-scale, multi-stakeholder CPQ projects and system rollouts.
• Optimization: Continuously improve CPQ workflows, integrations, and performance metrics.
• Change Management: Partner with OCM to drive adoption and user engagement.
• Governance: Establish standards, policies, and controls to ensure compliance and best practices.
• Innovation: Evaluate and implement emerging CPQ technologies to maintain a competitive edge.
• Stakeholder Alignment: Collaborate with business and IT leaders to ensure solutions meet global needs.
• Performance & Budget: Track KPIs, manage resources, and oversee program budgets efficiently.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, or related field (advanced degree a plus).
• 8+ years of experience in enterprise CPQ, digital transformation, or sales technology.
• 5+ years in a senior leadership role managing global, cross-functional teams.
• Expertise in platforms such as Oracle CPQ, Salesforce CPQ, or similar.
• Strong background in Agile and ITIL methodologies.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proven ability to lead in complex, matrixed environments.
• Fluent in English; strong written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work hybrid from Irving, TX, and travel up to 25%.
