Fire and Water Restoration Technician

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Restoration Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the restoration industry, particularly in fire and water damage restoration, mold remediation, and or insurance claims. This role requires a strong attention to detail, the ability to work with various hand and power tools, and a commitment to delivering high-quality results in challenging environments.
Responsibilities
- Perform cleaning and restoration tasks for residential and commercial properties affected by fire, water damage, or mold.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for restoration projects.
- Conduct thorough assessments of damaged areas to determine the appropriate restoration methods.
- Execute water extraction, drying, and dehumidification processes.
- Carry out fire damage restoration including soot removal and odor control.
- Implement mold remediation procedures according to industry standards.
- Assist with carpet cleaning and other specialized cleaning services as needed.
- Follow safety protocols during all restoration activities, including abatement when required.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment throughout the restoration process.
Requirements
- Previous experience in the restoration industry is a bonus.
- Professionalism and integrity required
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to assess situations quickly.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and team members professionally.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various environments.
