Arena Bar & Grill, located in State College, PA, is currently seeking Line Cooks to join our team. We have both full-time and part-time positions available for individuals with a passion for cooking and a desire to work in a fast-paced professional environment.

Requirements:

  • Will train the right person without experience.
  • Ability to independently read and follow recipes, ensuring accurate execution.
  • Assumption of 100% responsibility for the quality of all prepared products.
  • Proficient handling, labeling, storage, and rotation of all ingredients in compliance with kitchen and health code regulations.
  • Completion of daily prep list, demonstrating excellent organizational skills.
  • Maintenance of sufficient product levels to meet demands at all times.
  • Physical capabilities to reach, bend, stoop, and lift items weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Willingness to work in a standing position for extended periods (up to 8 hours).
  • Adaptability and ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to respond quickly to changes.
  • Experience in making pizzas is a plus.
  • Availability to work evenings and weekends is desired.
